Tanki Classic

We are excited to introduce Tanki Classic – a new project for those who want to relive the atmosphere of the legendary Tanki! This version of the game will allow you to throw yourself back in the past and experience the familiar battles as they were before.

You can already become part of the new project! To do so, you can purchase special early access offers in Tanki Online. These will allow you to reserve your nickname in the future project and access the servers earlier than others.

Special offer bundles

Each special offer includes rewards for both Tanki Classic and Tanki Online. The rewards for Tanki Classic will be credited directly in Classic, while the rewards for Tanki Online will be credited in Tanki Online. Additionally, by purchasing any of these special offers, you get the opportunity to reserve your nickname in Classic, ensuring it is unavailable to other players. More expensive offers provide access to additional rewards: the ability to access the servers earlier than others, the chance to participate in votes on the direction of the project, and the unique Veteran paint, available for purchase only as part of the early access special offer.

Tanki Classic rewards

By purchasing early access special offers, in addition to rewards in Tanki Online, you can also receive rewards in Tanki Classic. Transfer your nickname, get access to the servers earlier than others, participate in votes about the project's future, and receive unique containers and a paint.

Nickname reservation

When Tanki Classic becomes available, you will be able to create an account with the same nickname you had in Tanki Online at the time of the data transfer.

Participation in votes

You will gain access to voting on whether to introduce certain mechanics into the project or not. The majority vote will determine how Tanki Classic will be set up for everyone else.

Early access

You will be able to play Tanki Classic before everyone else. You will be able to create an account in the new project before the registration opens.

Containers

You will receive a set of Containers in Tanki Classic that can no longer be purchased in the game. The only way to obtain Containers in Tanki Classic will be to earn them through gameplay.

«Veteran» paint

The game will feature a wide variety of paints: they can be purchased with Crystals or obtained from Containers, which can be earned through gameplay. However, «Veteran» is reserved for the most dedicated players. You will receive a unique paint that cannot be obtained in any other way. This paint is the same «Veteran» paint as in Tanki Online.

This section is the primary, first-source of information on the development of the Tanki Classic project. Here, we announce the key development areas of the project earlier than anywhere else. Please note: the presented plans reflect our current goals and may be adjusted based on your feedback and voting results.

Closed Testing

Access to the test server for those who purchased Early Access. During closed testing, player progress will be reset as necessary to conduct testing phases.

Juggernaut

The solo-Juggernaut mode can be played in standard battles and freely created.

Battle HUD

Replacing the modern in-battle HUD with the classic view featuring the top panel and removing new elements.

Railgun Shot Effect

Returning the original Railgun turret shot effects with different colors for different modifications.

Tank Explosion Effects

Returning the original tank destruction effect.

Twins Shot Effect

Returning the original Twins turret shot effects with different colors for different modifications.

Legacy Map Versions

An additional theme for maps that will display them in their legacy appearance prior to the graphics update in patch 1.100.

Containers

The ability to open containers and the final composition of container prizes.

VOTE: Striker or Gauss

Players vote on which of the two turrets will remain in the game. The losing turret will be disabled.

VOTE: Overdrives

Players vote on whether overdrives are enabled by default in battles or if they can only be enabled optionally when creating a battle.

VOTE: Smart Supplies

Players vote on how the supplies system will work. Smart cooldowns trigger a short recharge for all supplies when any single one is activated. Or the original system from the very beginning, which allowed all supplies to be activated simultaneously.

VOTE: Gold boxes on every 700 crystals in the fund / Randomly

Players vote on how the gold box spawn mechanic will function. Gold boxes can fall at any time or only when the battle fund approaches 700 crystals.

VOTE: Gold boxes with drop zone / without

Players vote on whether gold box drop zones are displayed by default or if the gold box drop area will not be shown.

VOTE: Gold boxes fast / slow

Players vote on how quickly a gold box will appear after the siren sound.

VOTE: Augments in skins / without

Players vote on whether skins provide unique features to turrets or if these features will be absent.

Additional Battle Creation Options

Adding extra options when creating battles according to the voting results.

End of Closed Testing

Conclusion of the game's closed testing. Player progress will no longer be reset, and players will receive their final rewards for purchasing Early Access.

Friend System

Activation of the friend system.

Crystal Purchases

The ability to purchase crystals in the Shop for real currency.

Premium Pass

The ability to subscribe to Premium Pass. Bonuses and restrictions associated with the Premium Pass status.

Global Release

End of Early Access. The game is available to everyone.

How to register in the game?

Account registration is currently unavailable, as the project is still in development. However, you can purchase the special Early Access offers to reserve your nickname or gain early server access.

Do I need to download Flash again?

The project is being developed using modern technologies, so no additional software (like Flash) is required.

When is the release?

There is no exact release date yet. Development is ongoing, and you can follow updates via our social media and V-LOG.

Can I transfer my progress from Tanki Online?

No. You can reserve your Tanki Online nickname, but Tanki Classic is a separate, independent universe with its own accounts.

How can I become a moderator?

We do not plan to recruit separate moderator groups. You can join the helper team for the main Tanki Online project.
